Cost of Our Services
The cost of services depends on the scope of work required to achieve the final result, significantly improving the shoes' appearance compared to their condition when handed over to us. Shoes that may appear similar in condition can demand entirely different levels of effort and materials. This is why we always determine the price individually, based on the specifics of each request. Above are some starting price examples, which serve as a baseline. A detailed quote is provided after analyzing the individual inquiry.
How Do We Determine the Cost?
The pricing process begins with collecting key information about the item to be restored. Essential details include:
Type of material: What the shoes are made of.
Current condition: Photos are very helpful.
Usage history: How intensively the shoes have been worn and how they were previously maintained.
Desired final result: The goal the customer wants to achieve with the restoration.
How to Identify the Type of Material?
Material information can often be found on a label inside the shoe, on the packaging, or on the manufacturer's website. If dyeing is required, it is crucial to determine whether the leather is open or closed. This can be done with a simple test:
Apply a drop of water to an intact part of the leather.
If the water is absorbed and leaves a darker spot, it is open leather.
If the water beads or remains on the surface without being absorbed, it is closed leather.
How to Assess the Current Condition of the Shoes?
The best way is to send photos taken in natural light. These should include both an overall view and close-ups of damaged or dirty areas. If possible, the shoes can also be delivered to our location in person for a more accurate evaluation.
Why Is Usage and Maintenance History Important?
Details about how stains, damages, or discolorations occurred, as well as what products were previously used for cleaning and maintenance, are extremely valuable. This information helps us select the most appropriate restoration methods and predict the results we can achieve.
Defining the Restoration Goal
A crucial part of the pricing process is determining the customer’s desired outcome. Is the goal to restore the shoes to their original appearance or create something entirely new? Understanding this allows us to propose the most suitable solution and precisely outline the possibilities and scope of the restoration for your sneakers.
